As I sit here, my gaze is drawn to the bookshelves that now adorn my once-bare walls, each book representing a step on the path to self-discovery and consciousness.</p><p><br /></p><p>Years have passed since I embarked on this journey of transformation. It began with a desire to find a deeper meaning in life, and to become a more mature and calm individual. The catalyst for this change was the recognition that life's true purpose lay not in the accumulation of wealth or accolades, but in the pursuit of knowledge and the nurturing of the soul.</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguX7b8IxKiVBTrcdPbaHt8NzZvGmju3z3jKmCOWEmMPw-yCVPjIuMbeoi2znY3CLl1_MpXjmiM2Ez4c_6gLTCYpwcNctCTv0IVCPYhqnzRMYH_MtLdKt4CdX4LLlvTylKqsj5JyL-SHOZ2RLn2PgcIm9BgGnRDawt6RdryatIGtmu5m0qlP2gBE3GRpFM/s5230/pexels-tomas-ryant-3192640.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3487" data-original-width="5230" height="213" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEguX7b8IxKiVBTrcdPbaHt8NzZvGmju3z3jKmCOWEmMPw-yCVPjIuMbeoi2znY3CLl1_MpXjmiM2Ez4c_6gLTCYpwcNctCTv0IVCPYhqnzRMYH_MtLdKt4CdX4LLlvTylKqsj5JyL-SHOZ2RLn2PgcIm9BgGnRDawt6RdryatIGtmu5m0qlP2gBE3GRpFM/s320/pexels-tomas-ryant-3192640.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p>As I look ahead, I see a future filled with continued growth and enlightenment. The books I have devoured over the years have opened doors to new perspectives and profound insights. They have allowed me to connect with the wisdom of sages and thinkers from different eras, guiding me toward a greater understanding of myself and the world around me.</p><p><br /></p><p>Balancing work and personal life demands has been a constant challenge, but I have learned to tread this delicate tightrope with grace and poise. The lessons I've absorbed from my reading have provided me with a foundation of inner strength and resilience, allowing me to navigate the stormy seas of professional and personal responsibilities with a sense of calm.</p><p><br /></p><p>One of my most cherished goals has been to fulfill the needs of my family. As I envision the years ahead, I see myself as a pillar of support and love, not only for my spouse but also for the children we are raising. It brings me immeasurable joy to impart the values I hold dear to their young minds. I strive to teach them the importance of kindness, empathy, and integrity, values I have gleaned from the pages of countless books on self-consciousness and the meaning of life.</p><p><br /></p><p>In this future I visualize, our home is not just a physical space but a sanctuary of love and learning. I see us gathered around the dinner table, engaging in meaningful conversations about life, its mysteries, and the beauty of the human experience. Our children grow into compassionate and thoughtful individuals, guided by the principles they have imbibed from their parents.</p><p><br /></p><p>As I imagine myself in the years to come, I see a person who has evolved into a source of inspiration and wisdom for those around me. I am no longer just a seeker of knowledge but a sharer of it, spreading the light of understanding to those who seek it. My journey of self-discovery has transformed me into a beacon of serenity, resilience, and purpose.</p><p><br /></p><p>In the quiet moments of introspection, I am reminded that the path to self-awareness and fulfillment is a lifelong journey that I am committed to continue. The books on my shelves are a testament to this commitment, and the values I hold dear are the guiding stars that illuminate my path.</p><p><br /></p><p>As I gaze into the future, I am filled with a sense of anticipation and hope. I see a life rich with meaning, a family nurtured with love and wisdom, and a person who has become the embodiment of the very values they hold dear. The years ahead may be uncertain, but with the knowledge I have gained and the values I uphold, I am prepared to face them with grace and purpose, knowing that the best is yet to come.</p>Vivek Choudharyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09349340531618375848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361499764084816836.post-11107975574873253932023-09-22T00:59:00.000-07:002023-09-22T00:59:05.667-07:00Unlocking Professional Excellence: The Impact of 'The One Minute Manager'<p> In the ever-evolving landscape of professional development, we are constantly seeking ways to enhance our leadership skills, improve our management techniques, and ultimately, excel in our careers. Clear's framework revolves around four main principles:</span></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Cue</span></b><span style="font-family: Calibri; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman'; mso-fareast-font-family: SimSun; mso-spacerun: 'yes';">: Every habit starts with a cue or trigger. "The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" by Robin Sharma is a book that resonates deeply with individuals seeking to reshape their lives, find meaning, and achieve success while maintaining their well-being. This modern fable imparts invaluable wisdom that can be applied to various aspects of life, including the realm of work. In this article, we'll explore how you can enhance your professional journey by adopting the concepts and lessons outlined in the book.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Prioritize Self-Care to Boost Productivity:</b></p><p>The protagonist of the book embarks on a journey to discover a fulfilling life after realizing the emptiness of his materialistic pursuits. This quest reminds us of the importance of self-care as a foundation for success. Just like the protagonist, taking care of your physical, mental, and emotional well-being is essential for optimal performance at work. Prioritize activities such as meditation, exercise, and mindfulness to enhance your energy levels, focus, and overall productivity. I personally do Yoga and meditation, and try to eat healthily (the hardest thing to do)</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Embrace Continuous Learning:</b></p><p>The journey of personal development is an ongoing process. The book emphasizes the significance of learning from experiences and seeking knowledge. Applying this to your work life involves constantly improving your skills, staying updated with industry trends, and seeking out new challenges. This mindset not only keeps you engaged but also positions you as a valuable asset within your organization. It is imperative nowadays to keep upskilling yourself as times have changed rapidly. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Master Time Management:</b></p><p>The concept of the "Time Garden" in the book underscores the importance of using time wisely. Adopting effective time management techniques can help you optimize your workday. Techniques like the Pomodoro Technique, setting clear priorities, and minimizing distractions can significantly enhance your efficiency and allow you to accomplish more in less time. With the current lifestyle it is hard to make and maintain a daily routine I understand, but once your body is in sync with a daily routine, trust me it will thank you later. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Set Clear Goals:</b></p><p>In the book, the protagonist learns about the power of setting clear intentions. Similarly, in your work life, setting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals can provide you with a sense of direction and purpose. Having clear goals helps you stay focused and motivated, even during challenging times. </p><p><br /></p><p><b>Practice the Art of Leadership:</b></p><p>The protagonist's journey involves learning from the wisdom of a Himalayan sage. His lessons on leadership and influence can be applied to your professional life. Lead by example, inspire your colleagues, and foster a positive work environment. Being a leader doesn't necessarily mean having a formal title; it's about the impact you make on those around you.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Cultivate Resilience:</b></p><p>Life is full of ups and downs, and the book teaches us that setbacks can be valuable learning opportunities. Building resilience is crucial for overcoming challenges in your work life. Embrace failures as stepping stones to success, learn from your mistakes, and maintain a positive attitude even in the face of adversity.</p><p><br /></p><p><b>Practice Gratitude:</b></p><p>The practice of gratitude, as emphasized in the book, can transform your perspective. Expressing gratitude for your work, colleagues, and opportunities fosters a positive mindset. This positivity not only enhances your overall well-being but also makes you more pleasant to work with, potentially opening doors for collaboration and advancement.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwuRTFvArsfV8Jiuz63BrRDlLvMGdlOjoZyfbke5gLqlOgBdbZWvidabQyG2EyB9VHCuVc0h5Q_As0t8IkB_tWkWFIILFEd4bbeDGAPCbCB9ishzm_-vGfJzfW4zuhI_8_EtmvPCBwInw3ZrEvSH4kvPr3JH7sJdjsNgTz4VuS-DeC0pcH0rBIAaR4eNM/s358/new%20blog.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="322" data-original-width="358" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjwuRTFvArsfV8Jiuz63BrRDlLvMGdlOjoZyfbke5gLqlOgBdbZWvidabQyG2EyB9VHCuVc0h5Q_As0t8IkB_tWkWFIILFEd4bbeDGAPCbCB9ishzm_-vGfJzfW4zuhI_8_EtmvPCBwInw3ZrEvSH4kvPr3JH7sJdjsNgTz4VuS-DeC0pcH0rBIAaR4eNM/w400-h360/new%20blog.png" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p><b>Conclusion</b></p><p>"The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari" offers a treasure trove of insights that can revolutionize how you approach your work life. In this article, I will share a few key takeaways from the Mahabharata that can be applied to the corporate world.</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEiE7N43he5RUFwE006D-bKJ-MUIf3GsAxBbiVjqvPASl8bI4jQHy-dGag1f-dBFMcgTZEskrqsysOVc73NsQ_wb-aNZT6C_-J6WzJcQUyxV4zTHDZVWkvdnrmfLcFpCHg3PnLQlbXYuute2YRExbvhN9FwyA6-Xcyqp45MnyyymB1DShOjoYNVVsu/s650/01_06_2021-mahabharat_katha_21697093.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="540" data-original-width="650" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEiE7N43he5RUFwE006D-bKJ-MUIf3GsAxBbiVjqvPASl8bI4jQHy-dGag1f-dBFMcgTZEskrqsysOVc73NsQ_wb-aNZT6C_-J6WzJcQUyxV4zTHDZVWkvdnrmfLcFpCHg3PnLQlbXYuute2YRExbvhN9FwyA6-Xcyqp45MnyyymB1DShOjoYNVVsu/s320/01_06_2021-mahabharat_katha_21697093.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br /><p style="--artdeco-reset-typography_getfontsize: 1.6rem; --artdeco-reset-typography_getlineheight: 1.5; background-color: white; border: var(--artdeco-reset-base-border-zero); box-sizing: border-box; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9); counter-reset: list-1 0 list-2 0 list-3 0 list-4 0 list-5 0 list-6 0 list-7 0 list-8 0 list-9 0; cursor: text; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: var(--font-size-large); line-height: 1.75; margin: 1.6rem 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: var(--artdeco-reset-base-vertical-align-baseline); white-space: pre-wrap;"><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /></p><p style="--artdeco-reset-typography_getfontsize: 1.6rem; --artdeco-reset-typography_getlineheight: 1.5; background-color: white; border: var(--artdeco-reset-base-border-zero); box-sizing: border-box; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9); counter-reset: list-1 0 list-2 0 list-3 0 list-4 0 list-5 0 list-6 0 list-7 0 list-8 0 list-9 0; cursor: text; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: var(--font-size-large); line-height: 1.75; margin: 1.6rem 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: var(--artdeco-reset-base-vertical-align-baseline); white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="background: var(--artdeco-reset-base-background-transparent); border: var(--artdeco-reset-base-border-zero); box-sizing: border-box; font-size: var(--artdeco-reset-base-font-size-hundred-percent); margin: var(--artdeco-reset-base-margin-zero); outline: var(--artdeco-reset-base-outline-zero); padding: var(--artdeco-reset-base-padding-zero); vertical-align: var(--artdeco-reset-base-vertical-align-baseline);"><b>Importance of strategy</b></span></p><p style="--artdeco-reset-typography_getfontsize: 1.6rem; --artdeco-reset-typography_getlineheight: 1.5; background-color: white; border: var(--artdeco-reset-base-border-zero); box-sizing: border-box; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9); counter-reset: list-1 0 list-2 0 list-3 0 list-4 0 list-5 0 list-6 0 list-7 0 list-8 0 list-9 0; cursor: text; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: var(--font-size-large); line-height: 1.75; margin: 1.6rem 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: var(--artdeco-reset-base-vertical-align-baseline); white-space: pre-wrap;">The Mahabharata is an epic that revolves around a battle between two sides, the Pandavas and the Kauravas. However, what is often overlooked is the fact that the Pandavas won the war not just because of their strength, but because of their strategy. They planned their every move, and they knew how to take advantage of their enemy's weaknesses. In the corporate world, the same principles apply. A company that has a solid strategy in place is more likely to succeed than one that doesn't.</p><p style="--artdeco-reset-typography_getfontsize: 1.6rem; --artdeco-reset-typography_getlineheight: 1.5; background-color: white; border: var(--artdeco-reset-base-border-zero); box-sizing: border-box; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9); counter-reset: list-1 0 list-2 0 list-3 0 list-4 0 list-5 0 list-6 0 list-7 0 list-8 0 list-9 0; cursor: text; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: var(--font-size-large); line-height: 1.75; margin: 1.6rem 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: var(--artdeco-reset-base-vertical-align-baseline); white-space: pre-wrap;"><br style="box-sizing: border-box;" /></p><p style="--artdeco-reset-typography_getfontsize: 1.6rem; --artdeco-reset-typography_getlineheight: 1.5; background-color: white; border: var(--artdeco-reset-base-border-zero); box-sizing: border-box; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9); counter-reset: list-1 0 list-2 0 list-3 0 list-4 0 list-5 0 list-6 0 list-7 0 list-8 0 list-9 0; cursor: text; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: var(--font-size-large); line-height: 1.75; margin: 1.6rem 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: var(--artdeco-reset-base-vertical-align-baseline); white-space: pre-wrap;"><span style="background: var(--artdeco-reset-base-background-transparent); border: var(--artdeco-reset-base-border-zero); box-sizing: border-box; font-size: var(--artdeco-reset-base-font-size-hundred-percent); margin: var(--artdeco-reset-base-margin-zero); outline: var(--artdeco-reset-base-outline-zero); padding: var(--artdeco-reset-base-padding-zero); vertical-align: var(--artdeco-reset-base-vertical-align-baseline);"><b>The value of teamwork</b></span></p><p style="--artdeco-reset-typography_getfontsize: 1.6rem; --artdeco-reset-typography_getlineheight: 1.5; background-color: white; border: var(--artdeco-reset-base-border-zero); box-sizing: border-box; color: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9); counter-reset: list-1 0 list-2 0 list-3 0 list-4 0 list-5 0 list-6 0 list-7 0 list-8 0 list-9 0; cursor: text; font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif; font-size: var(--font-size-large); line-height: 1.75; margin: 1.6rem 0px; padding: 0px; vertical-align: var(--artdeco-reset-base-vertical-align-baseline); white-space: pre-wrap;">The Mahabharata also emphasizes the importance of teamwork. This feeling can be amplified when we consider the scale of the corporate world. The sheer size and complexity of the corporate world can be overwhelming, leaving us feeling like mere drops in a vast ocean. But it's important to remember that even the largest of the seas is made up of countless tiny drops of water. Similarly, in the corporate world, every individual, no matter how small, plays a crucial role in the success of their organization. Just as a single drop of water can contribute to the power and force of the sea, so can a single person contribute to the success of their company.</p><p>To succeed in the corporate world, being proactive, strategic, and collaborative is important. Working with others and sharing knowledge and ideas can help individuals achieve their goals and impact their organization. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE4M--886JZ84gG1EqKvO2QknMRQjDj1Wqel6mCnxSunRHYauNvyIIPieN7kc6d08VPnYecaef9trXkSTQ_OtEMKGkDtGu2L_ya9d_jub-MUeUPOXLiPkONrvBdTQRp8GPyjKrd8v0Z_fQw8qLEGo5S86X1dKnZPr5bI_0D2ia9D9ZJcQjv8YLLiWx/s2797/new%20article.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1687" data-original-width="2797" height="193" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgE4M--886JZ84gG1EqKvO2QknMRQjDj1Wqel6mCnxSunRHYauNvyIIPieN7kc6d08VPnYecaef9trXkSTQ_OtEMKGkDtGu2L_ya9d_jub-MUeUPOXLiPkONrvBdTQRp8GPyjKrd8v0Z_fQw8qLEGo5S86X1dKnZPr5bI_0D2ia9D9ZJcQjv8YLLiWx/s320/new%20article.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>Of course, it's important to remember that even the most skilled and determined individuals can sometimes feel overwhelmed by the vastness of the corporate world. It can be easy to feel like a small fish in a big pond, but it's important to remember that every person has significance and plays a role in shaping the world around them.</p><p>In conclusion, while the corporate world can be vast and intimidating, it's important to remember that even the smallest individuals can make a difference if they are willing to work hard and collaborate. I was a beginner and I looked at them every day I went to work. And somehow I made a promise to myself that I will too become someone like them one day, maybe not in the same organization but I will, Now you might say I am working for 9 years but I am nowhere becoming a VP or P but it doesn't matter, I know where I am and I know what I am doing and I will get there someday and I will not stop, top of the mountain is bottom of another. </p><p>Taking on such big dreams or goals is not foolishness, If you are setting up a goal then make it big. What's the harm? If you won't get what you want you will still be ahead of many people like you who didn't even set goals in the first place. I always say a big <b>Yes</b> to every opportunity presented to me for growth, no matter how hard it is or if I am capable of doing it or now, I will make myself capable, I will do what needs to be done to get the work done. And I always get it done. :)</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHTuiVx2HQWWdCSXhdx5cQRuK-mXS104FfS_b8rwdPmFhpdTjY43IOvXDhF_m5zQODReABJsRef7_7RonXnP1NCNnBMAWPYzoTXqUBhbSspFTKO-NbRSz5Qs90fB8C1Lm7lpxIqyefGT2SIE8EbdoOhTubScQsA1HHiAhCuVo1rtUZvkEQIZtMUsxb/s3648/pexels-sevenstorm-juhaszimrus-704767.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2736" data-original-width="3648" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjHTuiVx2HQWWdCSXhdx5cQRuK-mXS104FfS_b8rwdPmFhpdTjY43IOvXDhF_m5zQODReABJsRef7_7RonXnP1NCNnBMAWPYzoTXqUBhbSspFTKO-NbRSz5Qs90fB8C1Lm7lpxIqyefGT2SIE8EbdoOhTubScQsA1HHiAhCuVo1rtUZvkEQIZtMUsxb/w419-h240/pexels-sevenstorm-juhaszimrus-704767.jpg" width="419" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>Tackling new challenges can be intimidating, especially if you're stepping out of your comfort zone and trying something completely new. It's natural to feel anxious or uncertain when faced with the unknown, but it's important to remember that these feelings are normal and that everyone experiences them at some point.</p><p>So, how can you overcome your fear and tackle new challenges with confidence? Here are a few tips:</p><p></p><ol style="text-align: left;"><li><b>Break the challenge down into smaller pieces - </b>A big, daunting task can feel overwhelming, but breaking it down into smaller, more manageable pieces can help make it feel more achievable. For example, if you're trying to learn a new skill, break it down into smaller steps or milestones that you can focus on one at a time.</li><li><b>Make a plan - </b>Having a roadmap to follow can help you feel more in control and give you a sense of direction. Determine what steps you need to take to achieve your goal, and create a timeline for completing each one.</li><li><b>Seek support -</b> Surround yourself with people who can offer encouragement and guidance. This might include friends, family, mentors, or colleagues. Having a supportive network can help you feel more confident and motivated to take on new challenges. </li><li><b>Get organized -</b> Make sure you have everything you need to tackle the challenge, whether that's resources, tools, or information. This can help you feel more prepared and ready to take on the task.</li><li><b>Take small steps</b> - Try to tackle only some of the challenges. Instead, focus on making progress one step at a time. This can help you build momentum and feel more confident as you move forward.</li><li><b>Be patient - </b>Some challenges take longer to overcome than others. Don't get discouraged if you don't see progress right away. It's important to be patient and keep working at it until you achieve your goal.</li><li><b>Celebrate your wins - </b>No matter how small, it's essential to recognize and celebrate your progress along the way. This can help boost your confidence and motivation, and keep you moving forward.</li></ol><p></p><p>Remember, everyone experiences fear and uncertainty when faced with new challenges. The key is to keep moving forward and not let these feelings hold you back. With the right mindset and a little bit of perseverance, you can overcome any challenge and achieve your goals.</p><p><b>Vivek Choudhary</b></p>Vivek Choudharyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09349340531618375848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361499764084816836.post-43350279804858303662023-01-01T22:02:00.000-08:002023-01-01T22:02:19.759-08:00Yes to 2023, No to New Year Resolutions<p>Over the years, I've picked up a few tips on making resolutions for the new year. I've discovered that relying solely on New Year's resolutions can be impractical and even harmful to our long-term success, even though it's normal to want to set objectives and make positive changes in the new year.</p><p>One problem with New Year's resolutions is that they frequently call for overnight changes to our routines and conduct. It can be challenging to maintain a sudden change of this magnitude, and it's typical for people to lose interest and abandon their resolutions after a few weeks or months.</p><p>Another issue with New Year's resolutions is that they frequently center on transient objectives like shedding pounds or saving money. While they are worthwhile endeavors, they are often superficial short-term objectives that fail to genuinely excite and encourage us over the long haul.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLEquYgmLuzwrJ1EOJtSdD7RiivWnYPOqaDG3t2MMiTeouzsW3CllnTfAKQcdND6sBCNqFkJ-JRfHmcJT1F9C3XWakUASrVwlLKQ-_JBSQjZ3AgStMjHGOnPCufVE3m-yUJRxknazNLFecjTrcAI155Qn3y5GszxPFkyAWwrShc7vgSC7ynWZiAUDi/s8192/pexels-engin-akyurt-13088178.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="6144" data-original-width="8192" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLEquYgmLuzwrJ1EOJtSdD7RiivWnYPOqaDG3t2MMiTeouzsW3CllnTfAKQcdND6sBCNqFkJ-JRfHmcJT1F9C3XWakUASrVwlLKQ-_JBSQjZ3AgStMjHGOnPCufVE3m-yUJRxknazNLFecjTrcAI155Qn3y5GszxPFkyAWwrShc7vgSC7ynWZiAUDi/w400-h300/pexels-engin-akyurt-13088178.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><p><br /></p><p>What would be a better option than making New Year's resolutions? Try making more manageable, smaller goals that can be accomplished over time rather than big, all-or-nothing ones. Instead of attempting to completely change your life all at once, this strategy enables you to go forward gradually.</p><p>Additionally, attempt to develop goals that are relevant and gratifying to you individually rather than concentrating on external goals. When times are bad, this can keep you focused and motivated.</p><p>Finally, feel free to seek out assistance and support. A support system can help you reach your goals, whether by joining a support group or working with a coach or mentor.</p><p>So, as you embark on this new year, remember that lasting change doesn't happen overnight. Instead, focus on setting</p><p><br /></p><p>Vivek Choudhary</p>Vivek Choudharyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09349340531618375848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361499764084816836.post-39891177297612426212022-12-26T21:38:00.003-08:002022-12-26T21:38:36.744-08:00If you always try to be normal, You will never know how amazing you can be.<p> I posted this title on LinkedIn a month ago when I read it somewhere in Chennai in Nov'22. I was scrolling through my posts today and found it and it made me think that this line has more to it, and I should express what I feel about this line and some of my other thoughts via it. I've always made an effort to act normally and with good judgment. I was born and raised in Delhi, but I've been living alone in Chennai for the past few years. Being so far away from my family is difficult, but I'm prepared to make compromises in order to progress my work.</p><p>I can really relate to the title because I've always tried to blend in and not draw too much attention to myself. I've always been cautious and followed the rules because I've been terrified of failing and other people's opinions. (Especially in Chennai, it's an awesome place btw)</p><p>But what if I'm missing something by always trying to fit in? What if there are amazing things I could be doing—things about which I am passionate and which would make me truly happy I'm too afraid to do them because I'm worried about what other people might think? I think almost everyone can relate to these questions. </p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3KszlY9rVS4cvEx1vvev-MUyTmAzQg3ikPdqbfGVMdALDPNLaUrQh15OPHZO25LVEKPbNFf_7DFf5YElYbYiQ9SlJjbIhyHLIMGQN8-Wxq11dMz-R78oGsqJB-uklDqfK83UhvVxsftOSjUDglnZdjUnwdJCn7OzqbpENcayOO_vu49Q9_HsoyOcq/s2048/pexels-hasan-zahra-2118483.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="2048" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3KszlY9rVS4cvEx1vvev-MUyTmAzQg3ikPdqbfGVMdALDPNLaUrQh15OPHZO25LVEKPbNFf_7DFf5YElYbYiQ9SlJjbIhyHLIMGQN8-Wxq11dMz-R78oGsqJB-uklDqfK83UhvVxsftOSjUDglnZdjUnwdJCn7OzqbpENcayOO_vu49Q9_HsoyOcq/w400-h400/pexels-hasan-zahra-2118483.jpg" title="from pexels" width="400" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Pexels</td></tr></tbody></table><p>Though it's a frightening idea, I'm beginning to see that it might be worthwhile to take a chance and venture outside of my comfort zone. I'm aware that it won't be simple and that there will be many barriers and challenges along the way. But I also understand that unless I give it a shot, I'll never know what I'm really capable of. Seriously, you never know what you are capable of until you have been put in that situation, and fighting out of it is the only way out, I have been through such a situation a few times so I know that we are a lot more powerful than we think we are. </p><p>(For any Seinfeld fans out there, it's time to see this <a href="https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0697744/" target="_blank">episode</a>.)</p><p>So I've decided to take baby steps to depart from my usual routine and explore new things. Though I'm not yet sure how exactly that will look, I can't wait to see where it leads. Maybe I'll pick up a new hobby or perhaps I'll start participating more in meetings or offer to help with a new project at work. I will give it my all and see what happens, whatever it is.</p><p>I doubt that I'll ever fully understand how magnificent I am capable of being, but I'm eager to try. I'm ready to take a chance and see all that the world has to offer because I'm overwhelmed by leading a routine, safe life. If I'm brave enough to pursue them, who knows what incredible things might be waiting for me?</p><p>Guess we'll see :)</p><p><br /></p><p>Vivek Choudhary</p>Vivek Choudharyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09349340531618375848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361499764084816836.post-18426724702445340812022-12-14T22:42:00.000-08:002022-12-14T22:42:10.965-08:00Why it's important to respect your organization? <p>I joined my first company in 2013, I was new to this corporate world and knew nothing about it. When you are in a new environment you majorly rely on the information given by people who are already there. So I heard a lot of negative gossip about how unfair it is, how people don't get promoted etc. So I started working, gave it my best, and was awarded EE (Exceeding Excellence) 6 months in a row, and just like that, I was up for my promotion in the upcoming quarter.</p><p><br /></p><p>So All that gossip I heard earlier was nonsense? Maybe or maybe not. But I learned that I should not entertain such nuances in the future. Of course, there are ups and downs everywhere you go. But you should not let such things reflect badly on your organization as a whole. Try to understand, any organization is a huge family and it is impossible to control each and every person, and his/her behavior towards you or your performance. Most of the time it is just your manager, not the company. I have always been a man who respects everything I receive, be it money, appreciation, or respect and I intend to give it back to where it came from. Gratitude should be part of your life. Be thankful for what you have and of course if you feel you are not appreciated where you are you can always go and switch, nobody's stopping you. I see people cribbing about the company and are part of it for a decade, trust me that makes you look bad. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkESupz12huf-bZA2zRxnEkzE6okwvHaafNoyzVLf5tZstZPEZrmeZ41UD6mxsn52cQ66anNgATzyqQAI9TD0FQEt4-1gV9ZHTMESDl7SKQdkjGFFCS-O8ObZNlgE2bISp63WIOSt1o48wguOZnAOWeKNfXgwT4YnRdxy3W_jbrbET43gbLnej-TG9/s5184/pexels-sevenstorm-juhaszimrus-443383.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3888" data-original-width="5184" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhkESupz12huf-bZA2zRxnEkzE6okwvHaafNoyzVLf5tZstZPEZrmeZ41UD6mxsn52cQ66anNgATzyqQAI9TD0FQEt4-1gV9ZHTMESDl7SKQdkjGFFCS-O8ObZNlgE2bISp63WIOSt1o48wguOZnAOWeKNfXgwT4YnRdxy3W_jbrbET43gbLnej-TG9/w640-h480/pexels-sevenstorm-juhaszimrus-443383.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p> Here are some key reasons why it's essential to respect your organization:</p><p><br /></p><p>It helps foster a positive work culture. When you respect your organization, you show that you value the work that you do, the people you work with, and the goals that the organization is striving to achieve. This can create a positive and supportive work culture where everyone is working together towards common goals.</p><p>It shows that you're a team player. Respecting your organization means being willing to put the needs of the team above your own. It means being willing to collaborate and support your colleagues, even if it means going out of your way to help them. When you show that you're a team player, you become a valuable asset to the organization.</p><p>It helps build trust and credibility. When you respect your organization, you show that you're reliable and trustworthy. This can help build strong working relationships with your colleagues, as well as with clients and partners. It can also help enhance your professional reputation and increase your credibility within the organization.</p><p>It can lead to career growth and advancement. Respecting your organization can open up opportunities for growth and progress within the company. When you show that you're dedicated to the organization and its goals, you may be more likely to be considered for promotions and other career advancement opportunities.</p><p>In conclusion, respecting your organization is important for creating a positive work culture, building trust and credibility, and opening up opportunities for growth and advancement. By showing respect for the organization, you can set a good example for others to follow and become a valuable asset to the company.</p><p><br /></p><p>Vivek Choudhary</p>Vivek Choudharyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09349340531618375848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361499764084816836.post-42813599820286831212022-12-11T23:33:00.002-08:002022-12-11T23:33:25.677-08:00India annual GDP Growth<p> India is one of the fastest-growing economies in the world, with a robust annual GDP growth rate. In the past year, India's GDP growth has been strong, fueled by a combination of domestic consumption and government spending.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT74YBsPnH2q-s22Mhd8m96uWpnUG7pLjrGHEQ8-N8Mcd_G2Twqb_XE_i2JViMg8HtbN2AunVWy0eUnin1Kx3qCpvXO7JA9kqtUaoohKyVi2F6J-xAqcf4Xejz7asUHgKVdI0-krU8UWjy2WxdqK1NTz6uX1yNrsJBmhleJxcJanob473G8WeSU4E8/s5184/pexels-habib-904735.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2912" data-original-width="5184" height="225" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjT74YBsPnH2q-s22Mhd8m96uWpnUG7pLjrGHEQ8-N8Mcd_G2Twqb_XE_i2JViMg8HtbN2AunVWy0eUnin1Kx3qCpvXO7JA9kqtUaoohKyVi2F6J-xAqcf4Xejz7asUHgKVdI0-krU8UWjy2WxdqK1NTz6uX1yNrsJBmhleJxcJanob473G8WeSU4E8/w400-h225/pexels-habib-904735.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p>The Indian economy has experienced a period of sustained growth in recent years, thanks in part to a series of reforms implemented by the government. These reforms have helped to improve the country's business environment and increase foreign investment. As a result, India's GDP has grown at a steady pace, with the economy expanding by more than 7% in the past year.</p><p>One of the key drivers of India's GDP growth has been domestic consumption. The country's large and growing middle class, combined with low unemployment rates, has helped to boost consumer spending. This has been particularly evident in the country's retail sector, which has seen strong growth in recent years.</p><p>Government spending has also played a significant role in India's GDP growth. The government has invested heavily in infrastructure projects, including the construction of roads, ports, and airports. This has helped to create jobs and stimulate economic activity, contributing to the country's overall GDP growth.</p><p>Overall, India's GDP growth has remained strong in the past year, despite some challenges. The country has faced a number of economic headwinds, including rising oil prices and a depreciating currency. However, the government's reforms and continued investment in the economy have helped to maintain a robust growth rate.</p><p>Looking ahead, India is expected to continue its strong economic growth in the coming years. The country's large and young population, combined with its growing middle class, is likely to drive continued growth in domestic consumption. It gave us a new perspective on how we often buy new things just because it is on sale and we fail to realize we won't use them. </p><p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhDXSiKKpSoEJq9XOY3KZ_5_p-8DaVMm1eIx3ULHnX_iLvsrXuLRcYHhhNUflQZ-eOnkmUgO_vHEFngzV7rBt-Tll9s4lHo7jFP1kdbn-DgRo-JHEviIrAEzabBeBbmTL6_45rOmcWJp7uvmf-8yQbWkZW9jDtXqFzRCycWVdeGKJqnJhQpPbo1Mmbw" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img alt="" data-original-height="537" data-original-width="377" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/a/AVvXsEhDXSiKKpSoEJq9XOY3KZ_5_p-8DaVMm1eIx3ULHnX_iLvsrXuLRcYHhhNUflQZ-eOnkmUgO_vHEFngzV7rBt-Tll9s4lHo7jFP1kdbn-DgRo-JHEviIrAEzabBeBbmTL6_45rOmcWJp7uvmf-8yQbWkZW9jDtXqFzRCycWVdeGKJqnJhQpPbo1Mmbw" width="168" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">https://www.netflix.com/in/title/81074662</td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /></p><p>Bottomline: Anything we have or are planning to buy <i>should add value to our life</i>, not suck the soul out of our life. </p><p><br /></p><p><b><a href="https://www.netflix.com/in/title/81312877" target="_blank">Get Smart With Money</a></b></p><p>This documentary talks about different people, how they struggle financially despite having a source of income, and how they cannot get out of the debt they have incurred. During those golden years, I worked hard, like really hard, from traveling in buses to getting a bike, to getting a car I have seen my fair share of hard work and I am proud of that. Doing 24*7 shift, I didn't even care about Saturdays and Sundays and worked as fast as I could and as hard as I could, I wasn't able to make everyone happy but then again my goal was to serve my company, my organization which I can proudly say I did and will continue to do so. </p><p>When I started at 21 I was energetic, young, and powerful (compared to myself at 31) now I have a family, a beautiful and loving wife, and 2 beautiful children (A boy and a Girl) what more could one ask. Now I live to serve my family and fulfill their needs.</p><p>I sometimes wonder why we are doing all this, why not relax and enjoy all the time (for that you need a shitload of money) but then again even if you had all the money in the world, what would you do? Would you constantly go on vacation? I can tell you you wouldn't, humans get bored very soon, sometimes sooner than you think, often during my vacation which lasts more than 7 days, I begin to miss home, I travel most of the time and have to spend a lot of time away from family but still, a vacation is temporary it cannot be permanent. So the question comes again what matters the most? </p><p>I have asked this question to several successful people and I got 1 common answer, which is self-satisfaction. </p><p>Now try to understand this, it is a very simple term, "Self Satisfaction" but it is actually nearly impossible to achieve this. You must be 1 in million people if you have this. </p><p><br /></p><p>I am not a very knowledgeable guy but for now, what matters the most to me, is the happiness of my family, the people around me, and the people I work with. The environment I spend most of my time, I want it all to be positive and happy that is my goal and I try to achieve it every day and go to sleep with a smile :)</p><p><br /></p><p>In case you don't agree with what I have said above, feel free to comment, reach out or ignore.</p><p><br /></p><p>Thank you</p><p><b>Vivek Choudhary </b></p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDurcZ8s1X6-MHdoRlR7Exm6Tnx1g-0HaqFElIn-E6OHLaqmIZYTffW7g2No5DUtjJIJfZk3ejZ3zdlK0spYOKgnRnabQvyzzMpapQuj38sWOWZlSylp-EQtO-BBp_IFvplW7yLJ3hVgsbxubNnddUZEjrp3ReeLpASYep0HDpb05uy-h5-SHj0CO7/s3420/pexels-wendy-wei-13221455.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3420" data-original-width="2280" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDurcZ8s1X6-MHdoRlR7Exm6Tnx1g-0HaqFElIn-E6OHLaqmIZYTffW7g2No5DUtjJIJfZk3ejZ3zdlK0spYOKgnRnabQvyzzMpapQuj38sWOWZlSylp-EQtO-BBp_IFvplW7yLJ3hVgsbxubNnddUZEjrp3ReeLpASYep0HDpb05uy-h5-SHj0CO7/w366-h320/pexels-wendy-wei-13221455.jpg" width="366" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p>Vivek Choudharyhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/09349340531618375848noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7361499764084816836.post-65666185701894785592021-11-22T21:26:00.012-08:002022-12-14T22:50:44.387-08:00Our Family's Fight against COVID A little background about my family.<div><br /><div>I work in the IT sector and have recently switched jobs in April'21</div><div>My wife works for the Delhi government she is a Nurse and has been doing duty in COVID (Ward, Vaccination, etc) since it all began. </div><div>Our families are settled in Delhi since the 1980s and our hometown is in Himachal Pradesh. </div><div><br /></div><div>On April 25th, 2021 there was a wedding in our relations on my mother's side. Since there was a family function happening there after many years my mother wanted to attend it. We had planned to avoid going to HP and skip the wedding. But on the 24th morning, we decided otherwise and left for HP.</div><div>I took the car picked up my wife from work and went for it, we reached our Kangra (HP) at 11PM.</div><div><br /></div><div>Now before you judge me that why did I risk exposure at that time. As per my thought process, my plan was simple, given the rapidly increasing cases in Delhi, I and my wife decided to leave our parents in HP along with our 1.5-year-old son, as there was not much impact there. If you have a kid you should know how hard this decision is. </div><div><br /></div><div>25th April'21</div><div>We attended the wedding. (50 people allowed in that wedding)</div><div><br /></div><div>26th April'21</div><div>I and my wife left for Delhi and got busy with our jobs</div><div><br /></div><div>28th April '21</div><div>My parents informed me that they are not feeling well and had a fever. </div><div>We thought it might be because of the weather as it was too hot in Delhi and cold in HP so it was perceived as a seasonal fever by us.</div><div><br /></div><div>29th April'21 </div><div>I decided to go to HP to take them to the doctor but my father informed me that they are feeling better.</div><div>I thanked god and dropped the plan.</div><div><br /></div><div>30th April'21 - 1st May'21</div><div>They got a fever again and my mother was feeling weak and coughing, but there was no issue with breathing.</div><div><br /></div><div>2nd May'21 </div><div>My Jija ji who was in HP took my mom and dad to a local doctor who took some blood samples and gave medicine, He predicted that it might be COVID but since many were recovering on their own so she will be better after taking medicine. Her SPO2 at that time was 85.</div><div><br /></div><div>After getting this information me and my wife left for HP, reached night. </div><div>(Punjab police stopped me in Kharar for putting sun shade in the window, I paid 500rs)</div><div><br /></div><div>3rd May'21</div><div>We had brought Oximeter with us, In the morning I checked and it showed 50, I was shocked and scared, I immediately started arranging for Ambulance, but after having breakfast it went up to 80 again. </div><div><br /></div><div>I and my wife had to go for testing as we had arrived from Delhi, so we went and gave our samples came back home, and found that mother's SPO2 is in the 50s again.</div><div>We went straight to <i>Citi Hospital</i> in Kangra, Doctor checked it was 80 and recommended admission but they couldn't admit her as per government rule that all COVID cases should be referred by a Government hospital. </div><div><br /></div><div>We went to <i>Dr. Rajendra Prasad Hospital</i> in Tanda, Kangra, There was a long queue for testing we requested people that my mother's oxygen level is dropping but no one helped (Hospital also did nothing) I stood in line after 1 hour they took her sample, and the report came negative.</div><div>We were confused about what to do now, her oxygen level is dropping and the report is negative, No private hospital would take her in.</div><div>We again went to that local doctor who had given us medicine earlier, at that time her SPO2 came to 92, and I wasn't sure what was happening, I took out my own Oximeter to confirm and the reading was the same.</div><div>We came home.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>4th May'21 </b></div><div>My mother was coughing all night at intervals, and she was very weak even to using the restroom.</div><div>SPO2 was between 45-50</div><div>We took her to emergency in Dr. Rajendra Prasad Hospital in Tanda, Kangra, Now listen to what they said "<i>We don't have a bed and oxygen, please take her to a private hospital</i>"</div><div>I told them no private hospital would take her as her report is negative, so give me something in writing, or refer her to another hospital. <u>But they did nothing, nothing at all.</u></div><div><u><br /></u></div><div><u><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYjekNYRVLhDn-XRottLbZUD7CghJx3sYjahoMJlCp3vIYCefQwCEhC-YzixzWQqMEfTRXsIzNHfvTfEN57zZMY88keGw_vOcTMADv5dz0XssE7Ls47HDK7CG_GnJrtpA5EUpmbc6Jjgk/" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img data-original-height="572" data-original-width="1042" height="176" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhYjekNYRVLhDn-XRottLbZUD7CghJx3sYjahoMJlCp3vIYCefQwCEhC-YzixzWQqMEfTRXsIzNHfvTfEN57zZMY88keGw_vOcTMADv5dz0XssE7Ls47HDK7CG_GnJrtpA5EUpmbc6Jjgk/w320-h176/image.png" title="My Mother" width="320" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><br /></td></tr></tbody></table><br /></u></div><div>I called Citi Hospital, and <i>they said we don't have any beds</i>, I called Fortis Kangra same answer.</div><div>I went to Shri Balaji Hospital Kangra, and they advised CT Scan, Her report came with a CT Severity score of 21/25, They said it is 100% COVID but we cannot write it on paper and we can't admit her, <u>I requested them</u> for a bed they said they don't have any. <i>They asked me to return to Tanda hospital</i>, I told them I am just coming from there and they don't have any beds either. Flying hither and thither it settled on Karna's thigh. Within a few minutes it began to bore Karna's thigh. Karna could not attempt to drive it away. Even a slight movement of his thigh would disturb his master. So inspire of the increasing pain Karna sat still. He thought that his suffering did not matter if the teacher's sleep was not to be disturbed. The bee continued to bore Karna's thigh. Blood began to ooze from the thigh. The blood touched Parashurama's cheek. He woke up. He was taken aback and said:</span><br />

<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "q_serif" , "georgia" , "times" , "times new roman" , "hiragino kaku gothic pro" , "meiryo" , serif; font-size: 15px;">"The pain did not seem unbear able to me."</span><br />

He looked at Karna from head to foot. He had all along assumed that Karna was a Brahmin boy. But a soft-bodied Brahmin could not have endured so much pain. Karna was not a Brahmin. Parashurama suspected strongly that Karna was a Kshatriyas. Angrily he spoke to Karna in a harsh voice:</span><br />
<span style="color: #333333; font-family: "q_serif" , "georgia" , "times" , "times new roman" , "hiragino kaku gothic pro" , "meiryo" , serif; font-size: 15px;">"You, Karna I"</span><br />

He stood silent, with his head bowed. He had assumed that he was really the son of Adhiratha who brought him up, Adhiratha was a charioteer. He Karna, was a charioteer's son; neither a Brahmin nor a Kshatriyas. What answer could he give to his teacher? He was Miserable and filled with fear. Karna's silence convinced Parashurama that his suspicion was confirmed. Karna's modesty, courage, reverences for the teacher and love of learning- he forgot all in his wrath. "You, boy! Have you not deceived your teacher and received training? I have taught you the use of mighty weapons; but when you most need this knowledge may you forget it all!" So Parashurama cruelly cursed Karna.</span><br />

It has been more than a year since I wrote, I lost touch and haven't been able to write or maybe I just couldn't find time for it. Between texts and emails, I forgot about this blog. But I am back as I had an experience which I want to share with all of you.<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
On 7th Nov'19 I visited my sister along with my wife and my mother, she lives in Saket. So we went out with intentions to go to the mall for the movie but on our way, I saw a gate that said "Asiad Circus" and show times were also mentioned. It was 15 minutes before the next show so I convinced everyone to watch the circus instead of the movies.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju5AZLf1sJHV1FA7MT6z_1W-_f6uA7iWSLmaG48fp1KPlHc1PhyphenhyphenHT5FDUUI2v4KYG2Ta4LLfb964l9-BlsD8nmnadiCsX1cUXuI0ZT1GTwPTNOKwwQWRfApILSepoIPnewcUtCl4YZ_d8/s1600/WhatsApp+Image+2019-11-08+at+8.55.54+PM.jpeg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="768" data-original-width="1024" height="238" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEju5AZLf1sJHV1FA7MT6z_1W-_f6uA7iWSLmaG48fp1KPlHc1PhyphenhyphenHT5FDUUI2v4KYG2Ta4LLfb964l9-BlsD8nmnadiCsX1cUXuI0ZT1GTwPTNOKwwQWRfApILSepoIPnewcUtCl4YZ_d8/s320/WhatsApp+Image+2019-11-08+at+8.55.54+PM.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
When we went in, I was surprised to see only 20-something people in the entire facility. The number of guys selling coke, eateries, and staff who manage props in real-time was more than us. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Every time a performer came he/she waived but no one waived back to them, they did a brilliant job but people did not clap (I clapped many times) I could feel what a person might think performing in a large arena with a handful number of people that too were not participating, It was awkward for me at many instances. At one point in a performance, a Dog was supposed to pick up the number with input from the audience, they asked many times to give them a number but no one did, even I did not(Don't know why). The guy selling popcorn yelled "5" the dog picked number 5. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Talking about performances, they were brilliant, risky, and courageous. But it's a shame that a person who puts in this kind of hard work is not getting any audience/encouragement. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I don't remember all performances as I had not planned to write a blog on this, nor did I capture pics of all acts but to summarize, it began with a good trapeze performance, and it also had that classic midget pants-pulling trick in the air. They all jumped in the net at the end, great landing by all. Then came the juggler who was also good, Russian artists presented a few acts that were different and you can say innovative, they were also encouraging people to engage with the performance via clapping. Few really good cycle tricks. The man with fire tricks, a man with water tricks, a girl with the ball in a basket, and a girl dancing with hula hoops. Dogs and Birds show. 3 bikes in a sphere. There are many more I need help remembering, attaching pics for your reference.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
In the end, you must go and see such shows once in a while, not out of pity but out of respect for the talent these people have. Hats Off, </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Regards</div>

<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
Below is a story told by Lord Krishna to Pandavas.<br />
And it is pretty much true, All predictions mentioned in the story have come true.<br />
<br />
Once the four Pandavas (except Yudhishthira who was not present) asked Krishna, What is Kali Yuga?</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
Krishna smiled and said, "Let me demonstrate to you, the situation of Kaliyuga." He took a bow and four arrows and shot them in four directions and ordered the four Pandavas to go and bring them back.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
Each of the four Pandavas went in four different directions to search for the arrows.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
When Arjuna picked an arrow, he heard a very sweet voice. He turned around and saw a cuckoo singing in a spellbinding voice but was also eating the flesh of a live rabbit who was in great pain. Arjuna was very surprised to see such a gory act by such a divine bird he left the place immediately.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
Bhima picked an arrow from a place, where five wells were situated. The four wells were surrounding a single well. The four wells were overflowing with very sweet water as if they were not able to hold water and surprisingly the well in the middle of these four overflowing wells was completely empty. Bhima was also puzzled at this sight.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
Nakula was returning to the place after picking up the arrow. He stopped at a place where a cow was about to give birth. After giving birth the cow started licking the calf but continued to lick it even after the calf was clean. With great difficulty people were able to separate them and by that time the calf was injured badly. Nakula was puzzled by the behavior of such a calm animal.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
Sahadeva picked an arrow that fell near a mountain and saw a big boulder falling. The boulder was crushing the rocks and big trees on its way down, but the same boulder was stopped by a small plant. Sahadeva was also amazed at this sight.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
All the Pandavas asked about the meaning of these incidents. Krishna smiled and started explaining...</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
"In Kaliyuga, the priests will have a very sweet voice and will also have great knowledge but they will exploit devotees the same way cuckoo was doing with rabbit.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>
<div align="left">
<div dir="ltr">
In Kaliyuga poor will live among the rich, and those rich will have an enormous amount of wealth that will actually overflow but they will not offer a single penny to the poor same as the four wells didn't have a single drop of water for the empty well.</div>
</div>
<div dir="ltr">
<br /></div>

I am a guy who follows rules, and I like things organized, Imagine if all stopped following rules, there will be chaos everywhere.<br />
<br />
So I was going home from work around 4:30 PM today (18 Jan'18) and this traffic policeman waved at me to stop. It was near the Delhi Gurgaon toll near Ambiance Mall. I was surprised and looked back if there is any other vehicle he might be waving at, but there was no other vehicle (I take the service lane to exit the highway) So I pointed a finger at myself to confirm if he is intending to stop me, he nodded so I stopped. I was initially thinking he stopped me because my helmet strap wasn't tied. But he told me that he stopped me because my number plates are not HSRP (High-security registration plates). I told him I didn't know it was mandatory (I knew).<br />
<br />
He then starts checking all my papers, I got my license, and I showed him images of other documents on my phone, he then asked for PUC (Pollution under control) I did not have this document.<br />
<br />
So he said No HSRP plates fine = 600, No PUC fine = 1000<br />
Total fine = 1600 INR<br />
<br />
I was taken aback by this amount, I thought it should be 500 max I will pay and bounce.<br />
But luckily I did not have any cash on me, I told him to swipe his card, and he said we aren't that digital yet.<br />
He gave me an option, he would keep my license and I will go get cash from ATM.<br />
<br />
So I went to the Kapashera border, got cash from ATM, and decided to get PUC also, so I headed towards Petrol Pump, while getting PUC I saw a policeman sitting there and I asked him about the number plates and fine on them. He told me it was just 100 rs, I opened google and found out it's true. Even a four-wheeler gets a 300 rs fine whereas that traffic policeman was demanding 600.<br />
<br />
So I got cash and PUC, I went to the highway, and showed him PUC (there goes the 1000rs fine out the window) and handed him 100 rs and said, I know the fine is just 100 rs. He laughed and then asked me where I work. I told him and then he asked me whether I could help him get a discount on a laptop.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEDgfE9CI5ny2K1sm8QztcEx5Ltshell2F6tbbyzK2uOkCa8qGCgfA5DesaiqO6Y6hq8BFIDn737p4vmmiBxZ4_bX6DcgP2JEBQvTt4jAletFS9ztzbFwQ9OrOxKftBI5nriGLZ5K8rEQ/s1600/Traffic-police.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="500" data-original-width="650" height="245" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEDgfE9CI5ny2K1sm8QztcEx5Ltshell2F6tbbyzK2uOkCa8qGCgfA5DesaiqO6Y6hq8BFIDn737p4vmmiBxZ4_bX6DcgP2JEBQvTt4jAletFS9ztzbFwQ9OrOxKftBI5nriGLZ5K8rEQ/s320/Traffic-police.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
Long story short, if I had the cash I would be out 1600 rs, instead, I just paid 100 rs<br />
Piece of advice, get PUC as everyone knows that mostly no one has it.<br />

<span face="Arial, sans-serif" style="font-size: 11pt;">There
are times when our life goes very smoothly with no problems at all. This period
may go on for days, or months, and if you are lucky then it can last for years also. I
wish everyone has years of smooth life without any big hustle to go through.<u1:p></u1:p></span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt;"><u2:p></u2:p><o:p></o:p></span></div>

affects your life but this is the time when you can improve and become a
different person altogether instead of surrendering we need to stand up and
take charge. This little Chaos will come every now and then, especially from
the time we reach our mid-twenties till the time we retire. I previously wrote about
uncertainty, It’s almost the same thing. We need to prepare ourselves so that when
the time comes in which we have to deal with a situation we are not used to,
our hands won’t shake, we don’t panic, and we maintain a peaceful and sensible
approach towards the problem. I am not saying don’t be happy in good times,
but just hope for the best and prepare for the worst.<u1:p></u1:p></span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt;"><u2:p></u2:p><o:p></o:p></span></div>

call it chaos as during the time we have to deal with a certain inevitable issue,
our entire plan gets disrupted. Plans might be big or of high importance to us, and it feels bad if we have to postpone or cancel them. It causes stress and we can
end up making rash decisions. On the other hand, if we are mentally
prepared then we can deal with it like all our other problems.<u2:p></u2:p></span><span style="font-size: 13.5pt;"><o:p></o:p></span></div>

There are many kinds of people, I see them every day, some are hard-working, some are lazy, some are smart, some are stupid, and a few are miserable. But none of them know what they are, and when they know it, it will be too late.<br />
It doesn't concern me what people are or what they do as long as they don't cross paths with me.<br />
But being a blogger I must come up with something to write. And for some reason, Time, Hard Work, and Success are my favorite topics. I can speak on these topics for hours.<br />
<br />
So I have gathered 3 reasons I believe why some people will fail, or won't grow in life.<br />
<br />
1. Disrespecting Time</div><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><br /></div><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><i>"Lost time is never found again"</i> - Benjamin Franklin</div><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><br />
Unsuccessful people don’t value their time. They are everywhere, anywhere, anytime because they lack the ability to dedicate their time towards their goals. And year after year they make new promises which never come to fruition simply because they couldn’t be bothered to put in the time required toward their goals. Time management skills, learning how to say no, and knowing what commitments to undertake, is a step towards great success in any area of our lives.<br />
<br />
2. <b>No Goals</b></div><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><b><br /></b>
“<i>It’s not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.</i>” – Roy Disney<br />
<br />
The more im<span style="font-family: inherit;">portant a goa</span>l is, the higher it will be on your hierarchy of values and the more discipline and order you will have associated with it. The less important a goal is, the lower it will be on your hierarchy of values and the less discipline and more disorder you’ll have associated with it. Unsuccessful people have mistaken busyness for productivity. They are a part of everything but nothing which they do is in alignment with their values and their goals. Writing down in a journal your goals and implementing strategies that can get you there will help you identify things that are not on par with where you are going.<br />
<br />
3. <b>Making Excuses</b></div><div dir="ltr" style="text-align: left;" trbidi="on"><b><br /></b>
“<i>If you can’t make it good, at least make it look good</i>” – Bill Gates<br />
<br />
These are the people who will find reasons and logic as to why they can’t and why they shouldn’t. They sometimes mistake this abhorrent tendency for “just being realistic”. They lack imagination and always find ways to justify why something shouldn’t be but they never really try. The best remedy for this is to stop your mind when it’s about to start making excuses and re-ignite the engine that has started it all.<br />
<br />
Then again, these are my personal opinions, Do whatever you want. It's your life.<br />

Generation gap is a serious issue and it leads to many conclusions taking place in brains of people on either side. There will be a time when this gap will become permanent with no damage control.<br />
<div class="qtext_para">
</div>
<div class="qtext_para">
Often we perceive older/elders as boring because they do things differently, or not the way you want. But we're not always right. There is a lot which we don't know and will only learn with time. </div>
<div class="qtext_para">
A thought which I believe everyone thinks nowadays and I don't agree to it.<br />
So I am going to try to explain.</div>
<div class="qtext_para">
<br /></div>
<div class="qtext_para">
There is a very dangerous trap which 95% of people fall. </div>
<div class="qtext_para">
<br /></div>
<div class="qtext_para">
It
all starts in teen ages – at this age you start to realize yourself as a
unique human being, with a unique identity, talents, skills etc...</div>
<div class="qtext_para">
<br />
And somehow, everyone thinks that his or her life is going to be as unique as they feel they are.</div>
<div class="qtext_para">
However,
here goes the essence of the trap: Young people associate uniqueness
and happiness of their whole life with uniqueness of themselves, and
think it’s just impossible to be otherwise. </div>
<div class="qtext_para">
<br />
Youngsters look at
adults and think that they are boring, they just don’t get it, they
don’t understand how cool life is. Teenagers can never ever even
consider the possibility of ending up living the same boring lives as
their parents. Why? Because they think “I am just so unique and
different…”.<br />
So instead of working hard and act on their “uniqueness”
to develop it and make it evolve, they just live and think it is all
going to happen on its own….</div>
<div class="qtext_para">
But it won’t.</div>
<div class="qtext_para">
<br /></div>
<div class="qtext_para">
And
this is exactly how these bright and uniquely talented young people end
up living a boring mediocre life – complaining about everything around
while trying to justify the way they spent their lives.</div>
<div class="qtext_para">
So this is what I will try to teach my kids (Someday down the line) – life DOES NOT just happen, but boring life does.</div>

Sometimes few experiences can leave you speechless and makes you think about it. A similar incident happened with me on that Sunday evening. I don't trust anyone, except my family of course.</div>
<div>
So trusting a stranger with money is out of question. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Whenever I go somewhere near my home I don't carry my cellphone or money. I don't know why I do that, may be I feel free. You also try that, just leave you phone and go outside, it's a different feeling. So I went to drop off a guest that evening on my bike and when I was returning home, at Delhi-Gurgaon toll I noticed my rear tire is punctured. My first reaction, It's a fu**ing highway how can this happen, So there I was stranded without any means of communication or money ( I had 20 rupees for my cigarette which I was going to get later). With no other choice, I started to walk. It would take me 45 minutes - 1 hour to reach home given that I had to pull the bike all along. I was not in a big trouble, It was all just a big inconvenience for me. So after walking few meters I found a shop that repairs punctures. I thought why would he fix mine for 20 rupees when the rate is 40-50 approx. But I gave it a try, I explained the scenario and he said no problem he will fix it. I relaxed but I was sad because I won't be able to smoke. Then came the actual problem, evidently the tire was not punctured, the valve was rusted and leaking and we all know it can't be fixed. Only solution is a new tire tube. the cost he told me was 320 rupees. I said put it all back I will walk home. To my surprise he said he will change the tube too and I can pay him tomorrow. I can't explain what I felt. It is a very big deal for a small business owner to trust people with such amount. He went to get a new tube.</div>

<br /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
While I was thinking I remember my family would be waiting for me, I should inform them. I only remember one number by heart, i.e my dad. Believe me you should know at least one number of someone who will come for you no matter what and that person is your father.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I asked him if I can make a phone call, he gave me his phone, before going to dialer I noticed he has Paytm installed. I asked him if he accepts Paytm ? He said yes. Problem solved, I called my dad and had him send money through paytm. I didn't even have to pay him my cigarette money :)</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
So he fixed my bike.</div>
<div>
With increasing crime/fraud rate it is impossible to trust anyone. But we still should. </div>
